Harry’s Serves New Free Drink for Rockies Fans
Oct. 22, 2007 (DENVER) - Harry’s Bar at The Magnolia Hotel has created a new drink in celebration of “Rocktober.” Called “Dinger Juice” in honor of the team’s mascot, the concoction is purple, the Rockies’ signature color, and made of a tasty blend of Stoli Bluberri, Chambord and Razzmatazz with splashes of club soda and sweet & sour. Best yet, every time the Rockies score in an inning, shots of Dinger Juice will be served free to Harry’s patrons. When the Rockies win the game, another free shot of Dinger Juice will be served.
Dinger Juice will be available when the Rockies play on Oct. 24, Oct. 25, and Oct. 28 for the World Series games, and if needed, on Oct. 29, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
“Harry’s has two flat-screen TVs, perfect for watching the games and cheering on the Rockies,” said Mark Wellbrock, director of sales for the Magnolia Hotel. “We know the fans will love Dinger Juice!”
The non-smoking Harry's Bar opened on the lobby level of the Magnolia Hotel in December 2002, and features gradual lighting that rotates colors and a funky, mod seating area. The Harry’s menu includes a variety of small plate options for individuals to share, in addition to sandwiches, pizzas and desserts. The back alcove of Harry's is available to rent out for private parties. Harry's is typically open at 4 p.m. from Monday through Sunday.
