Magnolia Hotel’s Ballroom Debuts Fresh New Look

Feb. 5, 2009 (DENVER)—The Magnolia Hotel Denver today announced the Magnolia Ballroom has completed a stunning remodel that has transformed the venue into an even more swanky and sophisticated event space.

The classic 4,000-square-foot ballroom always has been renowned for its unique glass coffered atrium ceiling. Now, the glass atrium ceiling has been improved with an extensive new lighting package—a versatile system ideal for day or evening functions.

The new look features a modern color palette of deep grey, teal, white and plum, with glittering wall panels and expressive art that accentuates the architecturally alluring windows and walls. Wall coverings with a botanical design decorate the entry way and walls surrounding the bar. Soft, flowing draperies connect the bar space to the main ballroom. The elegant carpeting is a deep grey with an octagonal pattern, and the floor-to-ceiling columns are painted in shades of taupe and grey, with a smooth wall covering wrapping the bottom portion of the columns.

The ballroom bar, which is the only permanent ground-level ballroom bar in Denver, has been redone in a shimmering light teal blue. Above the bar is a custom mural of “The Lady In Black,” a modern piece of art, and adjacent wall panels are accentuated by the teal color found in the bar. Glassware sparkles on the frosted glass and metal shelves. Chic, sparkling red pendant lights hang above the bar.

The new Magnolia Ballroom will be Denver’s ultimate location for a posh event. In a city with a plethora of plain, big-box ballrooms void of personality, The Magnolia Ballroom offers a completely unique venue with a sparkling modern design that is truly refreshing. The Magnolia Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for dinner or 300 guests for an hors d’oeuvres reception. For wedding receptions at the Magnolia Ballroom, a plethora of amenities are included .An added perk is a complimentary suite for both the wedding night and the couple’s first wedding anniversary.

Until Feb. 28, 2009, Magnolia Hotels is offering a bonus for any client who reserves the Magnolia Ballroom for a wedding reception. Reserve the space and receive two airline tickets on Southwest Airlines departing from Denver.
